    Description

Bill Peet Ben and Me Animation Storyboard Drawings (Disney, 1953). Storm clouds and rain may seem glum, but it is the perfect weather for scientific breakthroughs! This set of original, hand-drawn storyboard sketches by the legendary Bill Peet depicts Ben Franklin and his loyal assistant Amos the mouse performing Franklin's famous kite experiment in this Academy Award nominated short. It is rendered in graphite and conte crayon on 16 field, 3-peghole animation paper, with some frames cut out and taped to the larger paper. It has an approximate overall image area of 12.5" x 15.5". It's a very rare, one-of-a-kind piece of animation history by one of Disney's topstory men. Some paper tanning and tape staining; otherwise the work is in Good condition.
