    Beauty and the Beast "Where's Chip" Book Preliminary Drawings Group (Walt Disney/Grolier, 2004). Original preliminary artwork for a cute book about Chip playfully hiding in different rooms, which the young reader is asked to identify. The published book is part of Disney's Baby's First series, published by Grolier. Included in this large group are six penciled two-page spreads, featuring only the characters; these are in graphite with blue pencil on 16 field 5-peghole animation paper. The backgrounds are featured on six two-page spreads, drawn in graphite and blue pencil with some highlights in red, on 14" x 11" onionskin paper; photocopied images of the character drawings are taped to the sheets. There are four two-page spread photocopies, featuring rough pencil images on 11" x 17" paper. Finally, there are six color copies of the finished art in two-page spreads. Overall condition is Very Good.
