Bear Feat Production Background (Warner Brothers, 1949). "Once upon a time in the deep woods, there were three bears... Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Junyer Bear." That's how this cartoon, by the legendary Warner Brothers writer and director animation team of Mike Maltese and Chuck Jones, begins. In it, Papa Bear reads in the newspaper that the circus is looking for a trained bear act. This is an incredible hand-painted pan production background from the scene, where Junyer drinks the water out of the tub his father is about to dive into. It's a beautiful pan production background by layout artist Pete Alvarado and the colors are spectacular. Only a handful of Jones' hilarious Three Bears cartoons were ever made, making this one-of-a-kind artwork a true vintage Looney Tunes treasure. It is framed under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 9" x 33" in a 7" x 40" frame that is sold as-is. Condition is Very Good.
