    Description

Batman: The Animated Series "Day of the Samurai" Volcano Smoke Production Cel and Key Master Background (Warner Brothers, 1993). In the 55th episode of Batman: The Animated Series, an unmasked Batman must fight Kyodai Ken, who now has the secret of the o-nemuri death touch; this all unfolds at the base of a now-active volcano, Mount Kakiiki. Here's that simmering volcano as seen early on in the episode, at the 3:48 mark. The hand-painted single cel shows smoke rising from the volcano, which is seen with clouds and a hazy sun in this original hand-painted production background. The setup is matted with an opening of 10" x 13", and is framed using Plexiglas for an overall size of 18.25" x 21.25" x .75". Frame is sold as-is. The cel includes a WB seal, and the back of the frame includes a Warner Bros. Certificate of Authenticity. Fine condition.
