    Description

Baseball Bugs Bugs Bunny and Gas House Gorilla Player Storyboard (Warner Brothers, 1946). A pair of hand drawn storyboards from the funny Friz Freleng-directed short, released on 2/2/46. Artists and animators for this Michael Maltese-written cartoon included Hawley Pratt, Paul Julian, and Virgil Ross. The cartoon features a ball game between the Gas House Gorillas and the Tea Totallers, and is considered one of Bugs' best; it's featured on the Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume One DVD. Two 6" x 5" panels, drawn in graphite on paper, with a Friz Freleng signature on the first. The panels are matted and framed with Plexiglas, for an overall size of 19.5" x 12". Fine condition. One of the few existing pieces from this classic cartoon!
