Barnyard Olympics Mickey Mouse Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1932). "Yoohoo! Mickey!" Pete competes with Mickey for Minnie Mouse's affections by waving "Yoohoo" back. Seen at the 2:26 mark of the 1932 Wilfred Jackson-directed theatrical short Barnyard Olympics, this is an exceptional layout drawing that captures the Mickey-Pete dynamic flawlessly. It also showcases the careful scene planning of the Disney animation studio, depicting the clever camera pan from Mickey's reaction to Pete's "innocent" wave to Minnie. The characters are rendered in graphite and measure an overall 8.25" x 6.5" on the 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. The paper itself shows minor handling and edge wear with slight paper toning due to age. There is some whiteout under Pete, the sheet is numbered 53, and the condition is Very Good.
