    Description

Bambi Mother and Bambi Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1942). "The prince was a tiny fawn, only two hours old." This is a very rare concept/story painting of from the very early development stages of this classic Disney feature. The painting is a combination of gouache, pastel, and Conte crayon, of the newborn Bambi and his mom, nestled in a thicket. This 3.75" x 5" image and its color palette truly capture the look and feel of the film. It was originally sold through Courvoisier Galleries and still has its original Courvoisier sticker (with 1937 copyright) in a sleeve on the back of the frame. The piece is matted to the image and in a frame measuring 13.5" x 15". Condition is Fine.
