    Description

Bambi Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1942). In Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston's book Bambi: The Story and the Film, they write "Marc Davis brought life and feeling to his drawings, which became guides for all to follow." They added: "The direction changed, however, with the arrival of Marc Fraser Davis." This is an outstanding original studio concept piece of Bambi peeking through the brush, in Conte crayon on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper dated January 25, 1940. Bambi measures 3". The corners are stamped "2002 Seq. 4.3" and "Discard". You can see the detail of emotion in this simple Marc Davis concept piece. In Fine condition.
