Description
Bambi Bambi and Mother Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1938). Right after Bambi's mother says, "Bambi look... new spring grass," the hunter appears and one of the saddest moments in animation unfolds. This is a GREAT original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel setup of Bambi with his mother. This Courvoisier setup includes trimmed cels placed on a hand-painted Courvoisier meadow background. Framed to an overall 17.5" x 16", with a mat opening of 7.5" x 10". Bambi is 3.5" while his mother is a striking 7" tall. Original Courvoisier paperwork is on the reverse. This cel was sold in the 1990's at Sotheby's. Paint professionally restored to Fine condition.Shipping, Taxes, Terms and Bidding
