DescriptionBambi Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1942). "Mother, where are you?" Forever burned into our memories since childhood is the tragic winter scene in which Bambi's mother falls victim to a hunter. Seen at the 42:28 mark of the fifth Disney animated feature film Bambi, this remarkably detailed animation drawing captures one of Disney's most tear-inducing moments. Bambi is rendered here in graphite with blue and red pencil, and he measures 1.5" x 2.25" on the 16 field 5-peghole cel. Depicted small in a wide, open space, this detailed drawing showcases the narrative expertise of the Disney animation studio, isolating the character for maximum emotional impact. A truly beautiful work of art, the paper shows remarkably little handling wear for its age, and it is numbered 95 in the lower right corner. The condition is Very Good.
