Around the World in 80 Minutes Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney/United Artists, 1931). Mickey laughs while leaning on his megaphone, in this 1931 documentary formally known as Around the World in 80 Minutes with Douglas Fairbanks. It was a travelogue that took viewers along to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Siam, and other exotic ports and was directed by the legendary Victor Fleming. While in Siam, the live action is interrupted by a short animated sequence of Mickey Mouse dancing to Siamese music. This is a great image of Mickey from that scene. The full-figure Mickey measures 3.5" x 3.5", is drawn in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper with the number 39 written in the far right corner. Shows minor handling; otherwise in Fine Condition.
