DescriptionAnother Froggy Evening Michigan J. Frog Signed Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1995). "Everybody do the Michigan Rag!" Chuck Jones directed a prequel/sequel to his 1955 masterpiece One Froggy Evening. It was released on 10/6/95, and shows the history of the immortal singing and dancing frog over time. There are virtually only a handful of production cels from the first film, as most Warner Brothers cels were thrown away. This is a great hand-painted production cel of Michigan J. Frog as he dances and sings his signature song; see him at the 4:15 mark in online viewings. The cel is paired with a print background of Marvin the Martian's ship, which is seen later in the short. Michie's overall image size is 4.5" x 5" on this 12 field 3-peghole cel noted as F108 in the lower right corner. The cel has been hand-signed by Animation Legend Chuck Jones in the lower right. A Linda Jones Certificate of Authenticity is included. Fine condition.
