Walt's Time: From Before to Beyond by Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman Signed Hardcover Book (Camphor Tree Publishers, 1998). This lavishly illustrated first-edition book is a colorful presentation of the careers of Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman, the great songwriting team that made their mark in the film and music business with Walt Disney in the 1950s and 1960s. The book is signed on the title page by Richard M. Sherman, Robert B. Sherman, Imagineer Bruce Gordon, Imagineer David Mumford, and Jeff Kurtti. The book, long out of print, is a first edition, clothbound in dust jacket, in a numbered presentation case. It's 252 pages, and measures 12.75" x 9.75"; 14.25" x 1.875" in the titled case. It is housed in the handsome, titled and numbered 0327 on a silver-tone plaque inside the case. In a pocket inside the case is a CD and 24-page booklet of the Sherman Brothers song cycle "The Merry-Go-Round of Life." The Sherman Brothers wrote many of the wonderful songs remembered from Disney animated and live-action movies of that era, including The Parent Trap, Summer Magic, Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, That Darn Cat!, The Jungle Book, Mary Poppins, The Happiest Millionaire, and others. Their songs for the Disney Parks were composed for Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and EPCOT Center; including the best-known tune from any theme park attraction, "It's a Small World." Their lives and careers from the 1970s to the 1990s, with Disney and other entertainment companies, are chronicled as well including musical contributions for many beloved movies, performers and stage shows.
