Walt Disney Company Rare Studio Employment Brochure with Application, Annual Report of 1946 Fiscal Year, United Artists Announcement of Product 1936-37, and The Story of Disneyland Brochure (Walt Disney, c. 1930s-50s). Offered in this lot is a rare assemblage of ephemera related to the Walt Disney Company, spanning decades from the 1930s to the 1950s. The first of these surviving historical treasures is a highly coveted Walt Disney Studios first employment brochure, complete with an application form! This staple-bound book details the Studio's principal departments and employment policies, with illustration reproduced from original production drawings. The second item is an annual report for the Walt Disney Company's 1946 fiscal year, a staple-bound book with letters to shareholders and employees from Walt Disney, and balance sheets detailing assets and liabilities for the year. The third item is a ring-bound book featuring United Artists' Announcement of Product for 1936 to 1937, with the final page advertising nine new Mickey Mouse cartoons and nine Silly Symphonies. Lastly, the lot includes a The Story of Disneyland pamphlet/guide book from the first year of the theme park, 1955.
