Description
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Re-release 9" x 7" Photo Press Kit Group of 9 and 13.25" x 10" Photo Press Kit Group of 9 with Folder (Walt Disney, c. 1950s). We have in this lot two fantastic photo press kits from the re-releases of Walt Disney's first animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Originally premiering on February 4, 1938, this pivotal movie saw its first re-release in 1944, with subsequent ones in 1952, 1958, 1967, 1975, 1983, 1987, and 1993. The Featuring nine 9" x 7" promotional black-and-white photos, the first press kit shows two images of our protagonist, and one for each of the seven dwarfs, each featuring a document with a small note on the character. The second kit comes with its 11.75" x 14" folder and features nine 13.25" x 10 promotional photos with a mat finish, as well as a Buena Vista distribution inter-office communicate about the re-release of the film from January 23, 1958. The folder is in Good condition, showing some creasing and handling and edge wear. Pinholes can be seen on the top corners of the 12.25" x 10" photos. The pictures are in Very Good condition, showing minor handling and edge wear.Auction Info
