Description
DuckTales French Miniature Figurine Sets Group of 3 (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). Here are three exquisite sets of miniature DuckTales figurines in fold-out cases. Although we know these originated from France, they have long been sold out, and there's practically no information on them to be found online. Each set has ten figurines, five attached to either side of the case. The first includes Scrooge McDuck, Magica De Spell, a Beagle Boy, Flintheart Glomgold, and Gyro Gearloose on the left, and a second Scrooge, Huey, Dewey, Louie (all in Junior Woodchucks hats) and Webby Vanderquack, with a color print in French, "La Bande à Picsou" (or "Scrooge's Gang"). The second set includes Scrooge (as "Oncle Picsou"), Dewey ("Fifi"), Gyro Gearloose ("Geo Trouvétou"); Louie ("Loulou") and Gladstone Gander ("Gontran Bonheur") on the left, and Flintheart Glomgold ("Gripsou"), Huey ("Rifi"), Launchpad McQuack ("Flagda Jones"), Webby ("Zaza"), and Magica ("Mystic") on the right. The middle color print is a different "La Bande à Picsou" image. The third set of figurines are in black and white with gold highlights, and include five Donald Ducks on the left and two Daisys plus the nephews (as "Rifi," "Fifi," and "Loulou") on the right. The middle print is from a Don Rosa illustration, with gold ink added to the big dollar sign on Scrooge's Money Bin. The figurine sizes range from 1" to 1.5" while the closed holders 5.75" x 8.25" x 1.125". Condition is Very Good to Fine with light handling wear.Auction Info
