"Peter Pan" Production Cel and Background Original Art (Walt Disney, 1953). Peter Pan takes some soap to his boot, in this stunning cel set-up and original background from Disney's masterpiece, "Peter Pan." The hand-inked, and hand-painted image of Peter was trimmed out of the original acetate and mounted against the original nursery background, which has also been trimmed. While the image is still very attractive, we must note several small areas of paint loss on Peter's lifted leg, and the acetate has a faint 1" scratch noticeable in the upper area above the chair. The overall condition is Very Good. The art has an image area of 9" x 11", and has been professionally matted and framed to an overall size of approximately 19" x 21". Includes a attached note of authenticity from the former seller, Cuckoo Comics and Collectibles, certifying this item as from the original 1953 Disney film.
