Description

Alpine Climbers Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1936). In this original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing, Mickey has been caught "crimson fisted" (to borrow a phrase from the 1949 Bugs Bunny cartoon Rabbit Hood) as he holds up an eagle egg he poached from Mama Eagle's nest! If you watch this scene, you'll see she's standing there in front of him! This particular image can be found in the film at about the 2:19 mark. Sheepish, giggling Mickey is drawn in graphite with a blue pencil highlight on the egg; the approximate image size is 3.25" x 4.25". The drawing is noted as 62 in the lower right corner. Other than some light graphite smudges, the drawing is in Very Good condition with minor handling and light age-related paper toning
