Description
All New Popeye Hour Publicity Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1978). He's strong to the finishk, when he eats his spinach! This fantastic Popeye image was created as a publicity cel for the new series that debuted on CBS on September 9th, 1978. It was the last show to use Jack Mercer as the voice of Popeye. The H-B Ink and Paint Department hand-painted this for publicity materials as well as reference for consumer products. The sailor man stands 8.5" tall (counting the open can of spinach). Matted and ready to frame, it is in Fine condition.Auction Info
