Alice in Wonderland Title Card Production Cel with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1951). "Where is the land beyond the eye that people cannot see? Where can it be?" --lyrics to the song "Alice in Wonderland" from the opening title sequence. Seen at the :42 mark of the 1951 Walt Disney classic Alice in Wonderland, here is a stunning title card featuring the credits for music in the film, presented on the gorgeous Key Master background. Stunningly hand-painted on the original production cel are the names of Oliver Wallace, composer of the musical score, songwriters Bob Hillard, Sammy Fain, Don Raye, Gene De Paul, Mack David, Jerry Livingston and Al Hoffman, orchestrator Joseph Dubin and Jud Conlon on vocal arrangements. The background illustration of the hookah-smoking caterpillar is an iconic image jaw-droppingly rendered in pen and ink over gouache on illustration board. This piece is framed under glass with a mat window size of 10.25" x 7.75" and an overall frame size of approximately 14.5" x 12.5". The piece shows minor handling, and the condition is Very Good. The frame is sold as is.
