    Description

Alice in Wonderland Storyboard Original Art and Photo Print (Walt Disney, 1951). Bill the Lizard makes an appearance in Disney's animated feature as a Cockney chimney sweep, recruited by the White Rabbit to pull "monster" Alice out of his house. Here's a rare early storyboard original drawing of Alice, lying on the ground and watching Bill as he moves a wheelbarrow. It's a cute image, with a nice close-up of Alice's face, and Bill with his hat, glasses, and pipe. The art is in black Conté crayon on 9" x 7.5" paper, mounted to a backing sheet of construction paper measuring approximately 12" x 10". Also included is an original 8" x 10" Studio publicity photo of Kathryn Beaumont (the voice of Alice) and Ed Wynn (voice of the Mad Hatter), each dressed as their respective characters. Photo print has some minor edge wear and small tears. Artwork has minor handling and toning, and the backing sheet has edge wear and missing corners. Overall Very Good condition. From the Joe Rinaldi Estate.
