    Alice in Wonderland "Floating in Wonderland" Original Painting by Harrison Ellenshaw (Walt Disney, c. 2000s). Here is a terrific Alice in Wonderland original painting used for a limited edition release. The painting is by renowned visual effects artist and matte painter, Harrison Ellenshaw. The former head of the Disney Studio's visual effects department gives his interpretation of Alice as she floats down the rabbit hole. Alice in Wonderland was Walt Disney's 13th animated feature film. One of the biggest cult classics in the animation medium, the film gained critical praise and became one of the most popular Disney films of all time. Rendered in Gouache on 30" x 15" stretched canvas and signed by the artist in the lower left. Harrison is the son of legendary matte painter, Peter Ellenshaw. He started his career at Walt Disney Studios. He later joined George Lucas's effects studio Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), where he produced many of the matte visual effects backgrounds for the films Star Wars (1977) and The Empire Strikes Back (1980). This gorgeous painting is in Fine condition.
