Alice in Wonderland Alice and Bread-and-Butterflies Production Cel and Master Background (Walt Disney, 1951). An outstanding piece of original production art from Alice in Wonderland. Walt Disney's version of Alice is filled to the brim with zany animated secondary characters. Some are only on screen for a second or two. This is a great find for any collector of rare Disney characters. Offered are trimmed production cels of the Bread-and-Butterflies applied to an overlay cel and paired with one of the best Alice production cels we have come across from the Bread-and-Butterfly scene. The hand-inked, hand-painted production cels can be seen around the 30:06 time mark. Alice measures 5" on this rare production cel, paired with a master production background which can be seen around the 28:29 time mark. This gorgeous piece is artfully framed to 21" x 19" with Plexiglas and a special cut matboard. Frame sold as-is. Overlay cel shows some warping. Overall condition is Very Good. From the Robert Forbes Collection.
