    Description

Ali-Baba Bound Porky Pig Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1940). "The Sahara Desert -- where it is so hot, even the fan dancers have electric fans!" This is how this great Porky Pig cartoon begins. This Bob Clampett-directed short was released on 2/10/40. Here is a great laminated hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Porky Pig when he is renting a camel at the "U Drive - Rent a Camel" shop. You can see this image at the 2:38 mark when Porky says "Don't worry Blondie, I'll take good care of the little dumpling" to the mother camel. Great images of 3" and 4". This is from the one-year Warner Brothers animation art program. Silk screened on the cel is the writing "This is an original paining I used in 'Looney Tunes' and 'Merrie Melodies' © Leon Schlesinger." Board is the standard 12" x 9". Extremely rare. Very Good condition.
