Alex Toth Sea Lab 2020 "Revised Deep Diver" Hand-Drawn Model Sheet (Hanna-Barbera, 1972). Fans of both Alex Toth (1928-2006) artwork, and Adult Swim cartoon shows should take note! This original art Model Sheet is from the hand Alex Toth. Sea Lab 2020 was a short-lived cult success in late 1972. It made only 16 episodes (three of which never aired). It was given a second life when the Boomerang channel occasionally aired reruns, and then a third life in 2001 when it was brought back as Sea Lab 2021, one of the four original content cartoons that help launch the Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network. "2021" used the stock footage animation, so this revised "Deep Diver" design may well have turned up in that cartoon also. Alex Toth gave us such amazing designs for many Hanna-Barbera cartoons, including work on Space Ghost and Super Friends. His fans will undoubtedly snap up this snazzy looking piece created in ink and marker on 11" x 8.5" yellow paper. In Fine condition.More information about Alex Toth. See also: Toth, Alex Artist.
