DescriptionAkira Kaneda with Motorcycle Production Cel Sequenced Setup and Animation Drawing Group of 6 (Tokyo Movie Shinsha, 1988).
Kaneda's motorcycle is one of the most iconic images in the entire feature film and is actually the central image in the main movie poster and DVD cover for the film! It is as much a star as Kaneda, who is driving it in this set of three Sequenced cel. Kaisuke can be seen in the rear view mirror. The hand-painted cels and their matching graphite (and color pencil) animation drawings are numbered C-26, C-27, and C-28 in the upper right hand corner. These rare consecutive and sequential images each have an approximate 7.5" x 6.25" image area. A fantastic setup from this cult-favorite movie and all in Fine condition.
