DescriptionA Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court Bugs Bunny Production Cel Setup (Warner Brothers, 1978). "The last time I took Bradbury's advice, I ended up in the 25th century as a Martian monocle... This time I end up in some kind of lizard factory!" Referring to Ray Bradbury and his Martian Chronicles, Bugs laments his current predicament after a brief encounter with a fire-breathing dragon. The 1978 television special A Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court is listed in its opening credits as "A Chuck Jones Original Presentation – of a story stolen from Mark Twain." This fantastic and expressive hand-painted original production cel setup can be seen at the 3:10 mark of the special based loosely on Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Bugs Bunny remains one of the most iconic and beloved cartoon characters of all time, and he turned 80 this year! He is featured here with his favorite signature prop, the carrot. This amazing and rare cel comes with a Chuck Jones seal, and it is framed under glass with a mat window size of 10.5" x 9" and an overall frame size of 18" x 25.5". Displayed over a printed background for presentation purposes and showing little handling wear, the condition of the setup is Very Good. The frame is sold as is.
