A Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court (aka Bugs Bunny in King Arthur's Court) Bugs Bunny Signed Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1978). Bugs looks at his road map and tries to figure out exactly where he made that wrong turn that took him from 1978 to medieval times, in this great hand-inked, hand-painted production cel and matching drawing. This riff on Mark Twain's classic time-traveler novel was a television special directed by Animation Legend Chuck Jones (1912 – 2002), who hand-signed the drawing. The show first aired on 2/23/1978, with repeats and video releases titled Bugs Bunny in King Arthur's Court. Bugs with his burrowed hole dirt and map have an overall image size of 7" x 4.25". The drawing includes an overlay with corrections on Bugs' body that have been hand-inked. The cel includes a matched print background, added for presentation purposes. The two items are matted side-by-side, with mat openings of 12" x 9.25", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 42.75" x 25.75". Frame is sold as-is. Art is in Fine condition.
