101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure Key Master Background and Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 2003). Here's an impressive Key Master background painting from Walt Disney's sequel to the 1961 hit, One Hundred and One Dalmatians. The film tells the story of Patch, the loneliest Dalmatian, who felt "lost in a sea of spots" until he met his TV hero Thunderbolt. This stunning piece depicting a London park can be seen around the 38:10-time mark. Rendered in gouache on 16" x 11.5" background board with a cel overlay. Along with the painting is the matching layout drawing for the background. In visual arts a background layout is the line drawing of the background for a scene. Background layout artists take them to the next level by defining the detail and perspective. Included with the layout are four studio copies of the layout and a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. Mild handling and edge wear. Condition is Very Good.
