"The Art of Chuck Jones" Daffy Duck and Marvin the Martian Sketch Original Art (Warner Brothers, c. 1992). Shoeshine boy "Honest D. D'uck" uses Marvin's helmet decoration as a brush for his $12 shines, in this wild early concept sketch -- Daffy, you know that's going to make him "VERY angry!" It's thought to be one from the first group of Looney Tunes gag drawings that animation legend Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) did in 1992, as studies for limited edition prints. It's rendered in graphite and watercolor on deckled-edge art paper measuring 14.5" x 11". The notation "CJ WATER - 14" is written in the lower left corner, indicating this as #14 in the series of watercolor drawings. The art is hand-signed in graphite below Daffy's foot. The artwork is framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 20.5" x 16.5". A Linda Jones Letter of Authentication is included, on back of the frame. Frame is sold as-is. Art condition is Fine.
