"Silver Castle" Original Painting by Harrison Ellenshaw (Walt Disney, c. 2000s). Castles are ubiquitous in Disney culture. Here is a spectacular depiction of one of the Disney castles as interpreted by renowned Disney matte painter and visual effects artist, Harrison Ellenshaw. The painting is titled, "Silver Castle "and rendered on a small stretched canvas of 7" x 5". Harrison started his career at the Walt Disney Studios. He later joined George Lucas's effects studio Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), where he produced many of the matte visual effects backgrounds for the films Star Wars (1977) and The Empire Strikes Back (1980). He would return to Disney as visual effects supervisor for TRON (1982), and eventually headed the Disney Studio's effects department, Buena Vista Visual Effects (BVVE). Here is a unique opportunity to acquire a great little Disney original painting. Hand-signed by the artist. Mild edge and corner wear. Condition is Very Good.
