    Description

"Mangle Mouse" Illustration by Ward Kimball (1979). In 1985, Ward Kimball (Disney Legend and one of Walt's Nine Old Men) created a gag Mickey Mouse "Model Sheet" that featured unusable versions of Mickey, including a strange three-eye, three-ear version noted as "Too Implausible." Here's an earlier version of the mutant Mouse, drawn for Disney superfans Ed and Elaine Levin, and titled "Mickey's Cousin Mangle Mouse (An Acid Freak)." The art is in ink on paper, with an approximate image size of 8.25". The signed drawing includes one of Ward's "thumb nail sketch" self-portraits (created with a thumb print), added as a large stamp-like piece of paper in the lower right. Framed with glass for an overall size of 8.5" x 11". Very Good condition.
