"George Jetson Tooth Pull" George Jetson and Astro Original Illustration Signed by Bob Singer (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1990s-2000s). The Jetsons, one of Hanna-Barbera's biggest cartoons and a futuristic Space Age answer to the prehistoric family sitcom The Flintstones, aired on prime time television from 9/23/1962 to 3/17/1963. This is a hilarious original illustration inspired by the ending credits of The Jetsons in which George Jetson and Astro take a walk on their precarious treadmill high in the sky. In this case, George gets the clever idea to remove a sore tooth by the same means. This lovely piece rendered in graphite and color pencil is signed by Bob Singer, long time animation artist of Hanna-Barbera. His work has been used for countless Hanna-Barbera projects, including The Flintstones, Johnny Quest, Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear, Droopy, Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, The Smurfs and many, many more. Framed under glass with a mat window size of 16" x 13" and an overall frame size of 23" x 20", the artwork is very well preserved. The condition overall is Fine, and the Frame is sold as is.
