Description"A Horse is a Horse" Mother Goose and Grimm Limited Edition Cel #2/100 (Grimmy/Peters Creative Group, 1996). Grimmy begins to wonder why Mother Goose always likes to sing the theme song to the old "talking horse" sitcom Mr. Ed when she feeds him, in this great hand-painted limited edition art cel. Mike Peters has been writing and drawing his Mother Goose and Grimm newspaper strip since 1984; an animated series appeared in 1991. This thick acetate cel with the extremely low edition number of 2 out of 100 has an image area measuring approximately 16" x 5.25". A print background has been added for presentation purposes. The cel and print have an overall size of 20" x 9". Cel is hand-signed by Mike Peters in the lower left, with a small Grimmy seal in the lower right. A Letter of Authenticity is included. Fine condition.
