(2) Original production cels from Tex Avery's The First Bad Man. (2) Original production cels from Tex Avery's The First Bad Man. (MGM Studios, 1955) (2) Original production cels from the Tex Avery directed short, The First Bad Man. Released in 1955, the characters in this short were designed by Ed Benedict, who would later design the characters for Hanna-Barbera's The Flintstones. This setup consists of an untrimmed pan cel of a Texas Caveman and his woman. The cel measures 10.5 x 37 in. The second cel features "Dinosaur Dan" (The first Bad Man) stealing all the women and is an untrimmed 10.5 x 12.5 in. cel. Both cels have been placed on a pan color copy background.
