Dave Sim Cerebus' Six Deadly Sins Portfolio "Sloth" Plate #1 Illustration Original Art (Schanes & Schanes, 1981). Dave Sim really doesn't get enough acclaim for his comedic brilliance. Cerebus began as a parody of Conan the Barbarian... and anything else that got in its way. There was always slapstick, pratfall humor, and wordplay. But Sim was also quite a master of subtle humor, as this piece demonstrates. Created in ink and Zipatone on illustration board and signed below the 17.25" x 12.25" image area.
