Description

John Romita Sr. The Amazing Spider-Man Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-8-78 (Marvel/Register & Tribune Syndicate Inc., 1978). Spidey is always ready to dish out justice -- but this time, it's personal! In this action-packed, three-panel daily, Spider-Man chases down one of the thugs responsible for robbing Aunt May and sending her to the hospital, his superhero code clashing with a personal thirst for vengeance in a showstopping showdown. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14.5" x 4.25". Lightly toned, with stat paste-ups used for the title and credits, whiteout corrections, pinholes, and handling wear. There is also tape and adhesive staining on the back of the board. Signed and inscribed in the lower margin. In Very Good condition.
