Mickey Mouse the Mail Pilot Cover Re-Creation Illustration Original Art (undated). The classic Big Little Book from 1933, featuring Floyd Gottfredson's storyline from the newspaper strip, Mickey Mouse the Mail Pilot, remains a favorite with collectors to this day. This wonderful ink and watercolor illustration replicates the book's cover, specifically, the slightly taller, soft-cover premium version, which eliminated the detail below the cloud Mickey is flying over. The art, beautifully matted and framed, has an image area of approximately 14" x 17.25", and is in Excellent condition. From the Don Vernon Collection.Auction Info
