Doc Savage Dec 1933 (V2#4) (Street & Smith, 1933) Condition: VG+. This issue's cover art by Walter Baumhofer is notable for featuring the first female to appear on a Doc Savage cover. Interesting that it took ten issues for the fairer sex to make a cover appearance! This issue features the story "The Phantom City" by Lester Dent. unfaded spine, missing about 1/3 of an inch of paper at the top. untrimmed cover overhang. Some very light general wear, and a water stain is visible along the top edge of the back cover. Cover stock is white; interior pages are an impressive off-white.
