Carl Barks Christmas Carolers Painting Original Art (1972). While Huey, Dewey, and Louie harmonize outside Uncle Donald's window, Pluto is inside howling along, in this terrific Christmas-themed painting. It's #20 in the Disney series of oil paintings Carl Barks completed upon his retirement from Western Printing, and is based on his original cover drawing for Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #148. This painting was later used as the cover for the Gladstone edition of Walt Disney's Christmas Parade #1 in 1988. The art measures approximately 12" x 17" on masonite, and has been framed to an overall size of 25.5" x 30.5". It's in Excellent condition. Enjoy the holiday season all year 'round with Donald and the gang!
