Synopsis:

Unfortunately, led by an evil influence, they are capable of extreme violence, as the Flame discovers.

Synopsis:
While relaxing at a desert oasis, Yarko greets a noted detective who is on the trail of a missing Major named Hazlip. Soon after, Yarko is kidnapped and taken to the ruins of Alchaz, where he mystically connects with detective Burke, whom he asks to contact local colonial troops to rescue him. In the meantime, Yarko faces the threat of Sarabin, who is leading an organized attack on the infidels in the area. The Desert Patrol arrives in time to stop Sarabin.

As Tex drives cattle into the pens of the Rawlings Ranch, he talks with the owner about two cattle rustlers operating in the area, but his boss doesn't seem to fear them any, unaware that the two are listening in and plan to rustle his cattle anyway. Fortunately for Rawlings, McNab's drunken men mess up the scheme.
