STORY DETAILS
Characters: Green Hornet [Britt Reid]; Kato; Mike Axford; Lenore "Casey" Case; D.A. Frank Scanlon
Synopsis: In "Chinatown" a gang of toughs is extorting money from people by threatening relatives still residing in Communist China, and the Green Hornet finds that identifying their leader is easier said than done.
Pages: 26.000
Pencils: Dan Spiegle
Inks: Dan Spiegle
Notes: The plot contains elements from the GREEN HORNET TV episode "The Preying Mantis"; despite the title having an exclamation point in each of the two front-cover features, there is not one here; Casey's real first name, Lenore, is not used in this issue. Although Paul Newman wrote the 1953 Green Hornet story there is no reason to believe he wrote the 1967 issues.
