Synopsis: Off the coast of Scotland lies Dread Isle. There live "fog creatures" with the ability of shapeshifting. When a party of visitors lands, the shapeshifters build clones of the three people and drive them against each other and into madness.

Title: True Tales of the Supernatural #34

Synopsis: "At one time, a favorite pastime in Europe was falconry. Falconry was the art of training sharp-clawed hawks to attack and kill sporting prey..." A falconer trains his bird to attack a certain hat and kill his bearer. The scheme succeeds. Years later that falconer puts on the fatal hat (in an act of forgetfulness) and is killed as well by his murderous falcon.

Hesitating for some time, Ralph brings back the gold - against the wish of his wife Phyllis. The couple has to fight pirate ghosts and Phyllis has to die.
