STORY DETAILS
Characters: Challengers of the Unknown [Ace Morgan; Red Ryan; Rocky Davis; Prof Haley; June Robbins]; F. Gaylord Clayburn III; Multi-Man; Kra (Cameo); Volcano Man (Cameo)
Synopsis: Multi-Man appears at the site of an atom bomb test. Because he can now remotely detonate any nuclear power plant, he demands to be made Supreme Dictator of Earth. Rocky and Red check the island but find no clues. Back at Challengers Mountain, June is spending time with F. Gaylord Clayburn III. When Ace tells him to get lost, Clayburn vows to find Multi-Man. Prof (who is secretly dying) turns up a lead and the team jets to a plant where they find Multi-Man, but they can’t lay a hand on him as he can turn immaterial at will. June and Clayburn join the fight and Multi-Man takes June as a hostage.
