The Blue Beetle returns in this issue -- it's the original Golden Age character, Dan Garrett (in fact the content is reprinted from Fox's Blue Beetle #59). We believe this to be the first Charlton superhero comic, and that's a bit surprising in light of the cover date, putting it squarely in that pre-Silver Age era when superheroes were out of vogue. This issue's cover is by Al Fago. Overstreet 2005 NM- 9.2 value = $170. CGC census 7/05: 4 in 9.6, none higher.
