Title: Captives of the Medieval Sorcerer, Chapter 1

Characters: Rip Hunter; Bonnie Baxter; Corky Baxter; Professor Blakeslee; Doctor Senn; King Gamina; Cholorus the Sorcerer

Synopsis: As a favor to Professor Blakeslee, Rip agrees to take Doctor Senn to the island kingdom of Rittannia in the year 960. Upon arrival, Senn takes off on his own. While waiting, Rip and his crew are captured and thrown into a dungeon by King Gamina and his guards. Cholorus the Sorcerer asks why the strangers have not been thrown into the Valley of Monsters. The King reminds Cholorus that he rules by the Code of Ritannia. When nightfall comes, Rip uses nearby horses to break out, but is discovered by Cholorus and his men, so now Rip, Bonnie, and Corky will be thrown into the Valley of Monsters.

Synopsis: The Time Masters travel across the Valley, doing their best to avoid a giant water lizard, a horned monster, and a monster porcupine. When they come to the end of the valley, they make their way back to the time sphere, where they're surprised to find King Gamina bound as a prisoner in the sphere.

Title: Chapter 3: The Sorcerer's Siege

Characters: Rip Hunter; Bonnie Baxter; Corky Baxter; King Gamina; Cholorus the Sorcerer; Doctor Senn

Synopsis: Turns out that it's the real King Gamina in the sphere and an impostor back in the city. The impostor is bargaining with Cholorus, offering the sorcerer his kingdom for the secrets of his sorcery, but Rip and company arrive. The impostor King is revealed as really Dr. Senn, who had persuaded Blakeslee to help him at gunpoint. Cholorus leads his followers against the city and it's now magic and sorcery against the city's defenses. In the end, Rip and the Time Sphere fly over Cholorus, and Rip ropes the sorcerer, removing and destroying the source of his power, a ring with a power stone.
