Title: The Mail Pirates

Characters: The Eagle [Ted Powers; Bill Powers] (The Eagle's first name is Ted in the first few panels and Bill in the last few- Bill is used in later appearances); Jason; Blackie (villain; introduction); Blackie's gang of mail pirates (villains; introduction)

Synopsis: The Eagle investigates a series of mail planes that have gone missing while flying over the Rockies. He finds and brings to justice the gang that has been shooting them down and stealing the mail.

Title: The Fort Knox Gold Robbery

Characters: Dynamo (formerly Electro)

Synopsis: Dynamo tracks the stolen gold to a mansion where an "artist" was hiding it inside of bronze statues. When the rest of the gang attacks him, Dynamo uses his powers to electroplate them in the gold and delivers them to the federal men.

Title: Master of the Ice Ray

Characters: Cosmic Carson; The Skull-Men (villains; introduction; death)

Synopsis: Cosmic Carson goes in search of a space expedition that never returned. He is captured by the same inhabitants of the planet that the original team was- a race of men with skull-like features. Using his superior strength he escapes, frees the other Earthmen, tricks the Skull Men into destroying their own weapons, and bombs them out of existence as he flies back to Earth.

Synopsis: Perisphere Payne heads a team sent to help the refueling station on the Moon defeat an invasion. He discovers that the invasion is coming from a city deep in the Moon's core and destroys the city with explosives.

Title: Uchunko, Ruler of the Jungle

Characters: Marga; Ted Grant; Uchunko (villain; introduction)

Synopsis: Marga and Ted are captured by Uchunko, who believes himself the rightful rule of the jungle. He intends to kill Ted by throwing him in a pit and rule with Marga at his side, but Marga escapes and rescues Ted and the two fight their way back to civilization.

Title: Battle of the Insects

Characters: Dr. Doom (villain); Jan; Wanda

Synopsis: Dr. Doom escapes from Jan and Wanda who pursue him back to Jupiter. He captures them and subjects them and his other captives to his diminishing ray. Shrunken down to insect size, Jan, Wanda and the other captives must fight mosquitoes as one of Dr. Doom's "experiements". When they defeat the mosquitoes Dr. Doom restores their size, and they overpower him and escape, leaving him chained in his lab.

Title: The Prime Minister Strikes Back

Characters: Navy Jones; Princess Coral; The King; The Prime Minister (villain; death)

Synopsis: The deposed Prime Minister invades and captures the city of the fish men. Navy Jones arrives just in time to save the King from being fed to a giant two-headed carnivorous plant. As the King goes to prepare explosives Navy rescues Princess Coral from the Prime Minister, throwing him into a pen of hungry sea swine. As Navy and the Princess escape, the King blows up the whole city and the invaders that were occupying it.
