STORY DETAILS
Characters: Robin Hood
Synopsis: Prince John appoints Robin the new Sheriff of Nottingham. Robin accepts to protect the populace. His Merry Men are sent to France with Marion. The prince sends thugs in disguise, knights in armor, and ambushers after Robin. The ace archer even extricates himself from quicksand by roping a waterwheel. Captives say his Merry Men are actually locked in a dungeon. Disguising farmers as his own force, Robin frees his men and is "fired" as Sheriff.
