Synopsis: The Pinto Bandit held up the stagecoach and got away with the Jackson Mine payroll. Jackson is behind it all.

Notes: Another of the uncredited ghost artists on Red Ryder, John Ushler. The hats with the very high brim on page three are Ushler, as face and rounded hair in the neck of the green hatted man in panel three. Page four with Mr. Jackson leaving the office is another Ushler clue, and turning his head on page six. The inking is so much an imitation of the usual Red Ryder story, that it is difficult to point that to Ushler. Art ID by Steinar Ådland January 2011
