STORY DETAILS
Characters: Sgt. Rock; Bulldozer Nichols (introduction?); Mickey Sloan
Synopsis: A big GI named Bulldozer wants Rock's stripes, half-joking that he's too old to keep up. As Easy Company advances, Rock shepherds the soldiers through dangers while Bulldozer charges ahead like a hero. Young Mickey Sloan wonders why Rock doesn't pin back Bulldozer's ears. Rock lets him run - until the heat is on. Even wounded, Rock hauls barbed wire aside and covers the guys. "If you want my stripes, earn 'em!" Bulldozer saves the day, but admits he'd never be a topkick like Sarge. "It ain't easy, but that's the way it is in Easy!"
